This year on the 27th of August we raced Ireland's first solar powered race car in Mondello Park.
This was an immense milestone for the team as it was the first race track we ever drove on.
Mondello Park (opens in a new tab) International Race Circuit is the only FIA Licenced Motor Racing circuit in the Republic of Ireland. It was opened in 1968 and over the years the track has extended in size and now sports more chicanes and corners to push what cars can achieve on the track.
It was an incredible experience to drive on the same track like legends like Ayrton Senna, David Kennedy and Eddie Jordan.
We gained invaluable on track experience to prepare us for the iLumen European Solar Challenge (opens in a new tab) that we completed in September 2026.
This event was also where we officially unveiled the design of the car and livery to the public. The livery of our car is inspired by the Eddie Jordan 191 car. We wanted to pay homage to a legend in Irish F1 history. The spirit of Eddie Jordan is one of never giving in to begrudgers and this is something that inspires us .
We want to inspire a new generation of Irish engineers and talent to push beyond what they think their limitations lie, to ignore the begrudgers and believe in their potential.
